If I’m Your Coach: fire me.

I was talking with a client this morning whose not finding the results he wanted in coaching. He knows, as I do, that there’s no quick fix to this (he’s a coach too). There’s no fancy instant answer, only being curious, trying new things, and making the best of it.

So I challenged him: fire me. That got a laugh.

I was serious.

What do you need to “fire” in your life? What’s in your way that’s making life dull as dishwater (the old used kind)? Who do you need to fire? What are you tolerating?

I don’t just play a coach on TV (I don’t) I am one. And I live what I preach: life’s too short for the insipid and boring (mundane, yes, that’s called “life”).

If Albert (Einstein) is right “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them” then what thinking do you need to change?
